Been quiet on the outfit front, it being winter break and all. We ventured out yesterday for dinner and errands. Tomorrow is back to school except... it is pretty wintry out there. We got some snow this morning-not enough to keep us out of school by itself though. Buuuuuuuuut wind chills tomorrow are supposed to be sub-zero in the morning and we wouldn't want the baby children out at the bus stops or walking to school in that. Anyhow I could really go either way. I'm prepared to go back, but I'm also prepared to sleep in another day!

** LOVE THESE PANTS! Ordered them and had them delivered to my mom's over Christmas during the 40% off cords sale. They went on sale-sale the next week and Anthro gave me a price adjustment plus the 25% off promo! I luckily managed to find them in two more colors in-store for only $35 each after the discount! I am now on a month long shopping diet so I'm glad I found these on my last day of gluttony!

So this week I am dressing Christmas themed just because my goal is for the children to think I'm crazy. I'll be amping up the obnoxiousness of it each day. This was pretty tame, a Christmasy color scheme but that is about it. Stay tuned.

So Tuesday I had open toes and today I'm home with a snow day. Considering winter doesn't even hit for another two weeks, I'm not sure how this bodes for January and February.

The shirt in the top pic was one of the few successes from Black Friday. I ordered a ton and I'm going to have to return a lot of it. I'm pretty bummed because I was excited about some pieces. I'm also kicking myself for not visiting in-store so that I could have been assured of things I liked. Oh well. We'll be in Texas for Christmas and their malls blow ours away, so here's to after-Christmas sales!

So a kid asked me on Monday, "Why do you have a cat on your shirt?" My response was "Why DON'T you have a cat on your shirt?" and now I think he has a goal. I'm glad I'm inspiring the youth of America.

The second outfit was for a movie date to see "Catching Fire" in the fancy theater with reclining heated seats. I was thinking comfort comfort comfort. This fit the bill.

Black Friday shopping was okay, but I just don't think anything is ever going to top 2011's 50% off sale promo. I ordered from Anthro, Gap, and Nordstrom and now the waiting game begins.
