10 days of school left until break means busy busy busy! I have done a fairly good job of not overspending on myself, but did pick up this cozy knit buttondown during Anthro's BF promo. I have bought LOTS of presents for the hub! I am hoping Anthro will do some good after-Christmas discounts so I'm trying to hold off on any more clothes spending until then.

Apparently I was feeling cords + tanks + cardigans this week. I exercised significant self-restraint with Anthro's Black Friday promotion and only got one shirt. I'm going through a "damn I have a lot of clothes" phase so it is probably time to cool it for a while!

I decided this weekend that I'm not wearing the recovery boot anymore. OVER.... IT!   Fortunately I went to the doctor this morning and it's all good. I'm not back to 100% yet but I can go about my daily life. I just have to use common sense. Still staying away from wedges for a bit but at least I can wear normal shoes!

From a distance, the stupid walking boot actually blended in with my other boot. It is so incredibly cold but so far, too dry for snow. We may get some this weekend but it isn't expected to stick. In other words, it isn't going to do me any good by giving us a snow day!

How many stupid foot and shoe sayings can I come up with before this whole kerfuffle is over?  We shall see. Next week is supposed to get COLD so the beast (recovery boot) may actually blend in a little better. I'm not looking forward to a 30 degree drop in temperatures, but I am looking forward to tights and sweaters. Stay frosty!

Okay, there is no blue shoe anywhere in this post. But I did manage to get my feet in two real boots on Monday. I didn't last the whole day, but it is progress. On the shoe topic, I am continuing to be incredibly impressed with my purchases from Shoeland. No problem with wearing them (it? I guess) the whole day even when I was on my feet and all day.
