I went for a rather springy palette today even though the temps didn't top freezing. It was fine inside, but definitely not meant for outdoors. Luckily, I didn't have to be outside at all. It is supposed to warm up to a balmy 50something by the end of the week.

I normally try to avoid being too matchy match, but decided to pull out the least-likely color from this stripey t. If I would have worn a purple or pink or turquoise sweater and tights it definitely would have been overkill. But playing off the rusty/copper tone works for me here.

I dressed from the feet up today. I went on a bit of a shoe-buying bonanza with the recent 30% off sale promo, and these are the first lovelies that made their way to me. They have a 4 inch wedge but they are so, so, so comfortable because of the way the sole is built. I was on my feet in them all day yesterday and they were totally fine.

The top half of my outfit is also an example of why I need to not get rid of stuff. I haven't worn either of these pieces in a long time and was considering them for the exit pile, but they came together perfectly today.

Back at work, back in real clothes. While it was hard to break up with my pajama pants, it is nice to reunite with my wardrobe. I had it in my head that I'd shop my closet rather than Anthro this month, but they just had too many good markdowns. I mostly ordered shoes so we'll see how that goes.
