These last two pictures immediately remind me of my late grandmother. Not because of the outfits but because of my awkward rectangle of a smile. She never was able to pull off a genuine smile in a picture, and sometimes I see that I've inherited that trait.

We've swung from wind chills near zero two weeks ago to a 70 degree weekend. It was sure nice to get out of the house a little bit. There is a very slight chance of snow this upcoming week. I'll take it! If I could custom order weather, I'd have 70 degree weekends, and a couple days of snow (i.e. SNOW DAYS) in the middle of the week.

I'm trying to dig deep in the wardrobe right now. I'd really like to do some traveling this year, so I need to funnel my wardrobe funds towards that!

10 days of school left until break means busy busy busy! I have done a fairly good job of not overspending on myself, but did pick up this cozy knit buttondown during Anthro's BF promo. I have bought LOTS of presents for the hub! I am hoping Anthro will do some good after-Christmas discounts so I'm trying to hold off on any more clothes spending until then.

I decided this weekend that I'm not wearing the recovery boot anymore. OVER.... IT!   Fortunately I went to the doctor this morning and it's all good. I'm not back to 100% yet but I can go about my daily life. I just have to use common sense. Still staying away from wedges for a bit but at least I can wear normal shoes!
