We took the baby ween to an outdoor art walk/food truck congretation/costume contest tonight. She won a $40 gift certificate. Of course, there only 4 entries. Anyhow, this top is one of those items that didn't look like it was that special on the rack but was marked down to $17 so I figured what the hell. I'm totally pleased with how this all turned out.

Parent/teacher conferences= 12 hour days. I had to wear something I could stand in all day and then sit in for 4 hours, while still looking acceptably professional. I decided to revert to my foolproof standby of dress+cardi+tights+boots. Also notice the alternate picture locale. I'm not huge on snapping pics in my classroom, because I'd be mortified if a colleague caught me, but it's a chance of pace from the normal parlor shots.

So this is my look for Molly's analogous color challenge. These pants and this cardi are actually not the exact same color, even though they appear so here. Anyhow, I find that blue and green shades are pretty easy to combine together. This also helped me get dressed this morning since I wasn't feeling any particular direction, so there you go.
